Innovation Center companies work on developing energy efficient and renewable energy technologies, products or services in sync with our goal of eliminating energy waste in the built environment. They also appreciate the value of working and creating in a synergistic environment with fellow Innovation Center entrepreneurs.

American Strategic Group

The American Strategic Group is introducing a Virtual Pipeline model to the United States. The model makes CNG quickly available to users by compressing natural gas into CNG at a Mother Station, storing it in CNG pods, and distributing pods by truck, train, or barge to CNG Daughter Stations for refueling using affordable and proven plug-and-play CNG dispensers.

E3 Washington

E3 Washington integrates education, environment and economy to answer the question of how education can help build sustainable communities. The non-profit’s mission is to inspire lifelong learning in and out of the classroom that provides students with the academic foundation and skills to support prosperous economies and encourage the wise use of natural resources.

EcoFAB

Established in 2006, EcoFAB is a provider of conservation retrofits, energy efficiency, weatherization and renewable energy projects for residential communities. The firm partners with local municipalities, utilities, tribal communities and neighborhood programs to identify upgrades and strategies that will improve comfort, save energy and reduce utility bills.

Everest Sciences

Founded in 2008, Everest Sciences is a venture-backed corporation that develops inlet cooling systems to increase gas turbine efficiency. Its proprietary integrated, packaged systems combine inlet filtration and inlet cooling designed to provide cooler, denser air, with lower parasitics that maximize gas turbine output, while increasing efficiency and reducing emissions. Everest Sciences’ first large-scale installations were done in 2010.

General Biodiesel

Winner of Seattle Business Magazine’s 2010 Green Washington REUSE Award and Puget Sound Clean Cities Coalition: Alternative Fuels Sustainable Achievement Award

Founded in 2006, General Biodiesel is a Pacific Northwest renewable energy firm that aggregates, refines and transforms regionally recurring feedstock into sustainable fuel. Hydrovolts

Hydrovolts named one of 10 global finalists in the Prizewinner of the Clean Tech Open 2009 National Sustainability Award

Founded by Burton Hamner, Director and lead author of the Tacoma Narrows Tidal Power Feasibility Study, Hydrovolts has invented and is patenting new in-stream hydrokinetic turbines that generate consistent renewable electricity from water power for agriculture, industry, and global sustainable development.

Reklaim

Reklaim, Inc. is a next-generation technology company that is transforming the way the world manages scrap tires. Reklaim manufactures high quality, competitively priced carbon black products and fuel oils that generate attractive economic returns and provide a beneficial new use for scrap tires. Teach for America

Washington STEM is a nonprofit organization that works to catalyze innovation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) teaching and learning in Washington State. Launched in December 2011, Washington STEM advocates policies and practices that will rapidly scale STEM education innovation, support educators in preparing students throughout Washington State for success in postsecondary education and work opportunities, particularly those students who have historically been underserved.
